Pirateproof: Human souls.
(Imitators get found out eventually...)
I have been taking pictures since my senior year at Duke University in the 1980s. Yes, for those who care, I am passionate about what I do. This means I enjoy creatively capturing the heart of a person and the moment - ones full of beauty, joy, and spontaneity.
Additionally, I have had
several photography shows, including one called "Capturing Washington's
Soul" in the Governor's Art Gallery in Washington state; one at the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History; and several at Starbucks in Monterey, CA and Lake Forest, IL.
My exciting career with meaningful work in the communications field also includes TV network news gathering and producing for CBS in New York and Seattle; starting communications departments for a national sports and communications company, national container distribution corporation, and a worldwide valuation consulting firm; and freelance reporting, writing, and/or photography for such publications as Wine Spectator, Newsweek, San Jose Mercury News, Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital's Lifeline magazine, and various local newspapers in Monterey County, including being the creator of the newspaper column called, "Positively Positive People."
